We have an opening for Billing Assistant job. He/She will be have the following missions:

  1. Generate accurately and in due time the invoices and credit memos to customers
  2. Maintain and reconcile billing and AR data
  3. Manage AR collection
  4. Contract employment period: determined – up to 8 months)

Type: full time

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Ensures the accuracy of billing information entered into the billing system                                                  
  2. Ensures the accuracy of invoices and/or credit memos issued to customer in line with customer activity data and statutory requirements  
  3. Provides and analyzes billing data, including customer activity report
  4. Ensures tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues including collection calls and/or correspondence
  5. Sends reminders for payments to customers                                                                        
  6. Provides customer account reconciliations                                              
  7. Handle default client files – correspondence and tracking of legal cases with company lawyers
  8. Archiving of working documents
  9. Reporting activities according to specific deadlines: new/cancelled contracts, blocked customers
  10. Executes other ad-hoc task/reports required by upper management
  11. Reports on activity to upper management

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Must have:

  1. Previous experience in a billing environment and knowledge of billing systems – at least 1 year/or more than 2 years in accounting environment
  2. Knowledge of accounting software
  3. Previous experience contacting clients (interaction by phone, email, etc);
  4. Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  5. Financial University degree
  6. Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
  7. Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  8. Good organizational, multi-tasking and time-management skills
  9. Analytical thinking and detail oriented
  10. Ability to work under time pressure
  11. Good level in writing and speaking English language

Nice to have:

  1. Accounting software: desirable Navision
  2. Open to new ideas, looking for reduction of inefficiency
  3. Proactivity
  4. Reporting skills
